Here is a basic guide to growing chrysanthemum seeds:

1. Sowing time: Chrysanthemum seeds are usually sown in spring or autumn, depending on the climate and planting conditions in your area. Generally speaking, sowing in a season with stable temperatures will be more conducive to the growth of seedlings.

2. Prepare seeding containers: Use seedling trays, seedling pots or shallow pots for sowing. Make sure there are drainage holes in the bottom of the container.

3. Sowing medium: Fill the sowing container with suitable nursery soil or peat moss. Make sure the soil is loose, well-drained, and contains enough nutrients.

4. Sow seeds: Spread chrysanthemum seeds evenly on the soil surface without covering them too deeply. Usually, just press the seeds lightly to ensure contact with the soil.

5. Provide appropriate environmental conditions: Chrysanthemum seeds require the following environmental conditions to grow successfully:

Light: Chrysanthemums like full sun. Place the seeding container in a bright location with at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day.

Temperature: The suitable growing temperature for chrysanthemums is about 18-24 degrees Celsius (65-75 degrees Fahrenheit).

Humidity: Keep the soil moist but not too wet. Keep the soil surface moist by regularly applying water with a sprayer.

6. Caring for the Seedlings: Once the seeds germinate, which usually takes about 1-2 weeks, you can start providing extra care. Here are some key steps:

Thinning the seedlings: When the seedlings have reached a certain height, thin them out, leaving the seedlings farther apart so that they have enough room to grow.

Keep the temperature stable: Make sure the indoor temperature stays within a comfortable range.

Fertilization: During the growth period of the seedlings, you can apply a diluted fertilizer suitable for the seedlings every two weeks.

7. Transplanting outdoors: When chrysanthemum seedlings grow strong enough and have 2-3 pairs of true leaves, you can consider transplanting them to outdoor gardens or flower pots. Make sure the temperature outside is comfortable.

8. Caring for Adult Plants: Once chrysanthemum plants are mature, continue to provide adequate sunlight, moderate moisture and regular fertilization to encourage flower growth and blooming.
